E. M. DOUGLAS, deceased, formerly of Mason City Twp., was born in Giles Co., Ind. in Sept. 1828. He was a connection of Stephen A. Douglas. Came to Ill. in 1851, and Nov. 27, 1854, married Miss Sarah Creekpaum, who died Aug. 1862. Aug. 26, 1863 he married Miss Evelina Sparks, and died Oct. 1, 1902.
